MW Arden is delighted to announce Formula 3 driver, David Fumanelli, will be joining the team for the GP3 2012 Season.
The talented young Italian driver (19) is joining the MW Arden team following two successful test days with the team in Jerez at the end of last year. David finished 1ston the first day of testing and in the top 5 on the second day of testing in Jerez. David moves into GP3 as vice-champion of the Formula 3 European Open series after completing a two year programme with several wins and podiums on his record.
Julian Rouse comments:
“We are all really excited to have David as part of the team in 2012. He showed a huge amount of potential when he tested with us in Jerez and was a pleasure to work with. I am confident that he can be very competitive right from the very start of the season.”
David Fumanelli comments:
“I’m really excited to be part of 2012 MW Arden line-up! I have really been impressed by the way the team worked in the two days in Jerez. I wanted to join a winning team and MW Arden is really the best choice for sure, considering their previous results in GP3, but also in the other championships. I am sure this year will be successful for both of us and I can’t wait for the start of the season!”
