Like others here, I’ve followed your F1 career for many years, and you only keep getting better and better. You seem to have the right people around you, and you have your sh!t together, so I know you have what it takes to be #1 in F1!

I’ll be watching from my lounge room here in Australia, at all hours of the night, to cheer you on in 2011.

I see there are a lot of haters against Seb on here, but as a driver myself, we all know that much of the sport is luck, skill and reliability and both of you had some bad luck mechanically throughout the season. You are such a competitor and a great driver as is Vettel and you both have the best engineered rides out there, so here’s a toast to you and to be fair, a toast to Sebastian as well. He didn’t win the championship by luck alone. Cheers mate!

You are a legend of Australian sport and your wins in 2009 and 2010 have resonated with so many Australians, encouraging them to follow a sport they know little about, simply to see a fellow Australian achieve so much on the world stage.

There is no shame in missing out on the championship. You’ve given all F1 fans (particularly us Aussies) so many wonderful moments in 2010. Your peerless drives in Spain and Monaco. The gritty wins in Hungary and Britain. But I think my favourites were your brilliant recovery at Spa and your banzai overtaking at Singapore to claim podiums. Just think, you’re one year closer to the prize!!

We would have loved to see you take the championship, Mark, but bloody well done regardless! The number 6 being replaced with a number 3 is still fantastic – that’s three places. Hey, I’ll even settle just for a gain of not three, but only two places next year. Deal?

Great season. For an aussie to even make it to f1 is an impossible dream then to drive the way you did and almost win it is something that will never be forgotten. Great season and we will see what happens with the new tyres and rules next year.

Your character and fortitude is truly inspiring. The professionalism you bring to motor sport sets you in a class of your own. When I watch the f1, it is with great pride that I say to my 5 year old son ” Thats Mark Webber, He’s Australian”.

You are a true winner, genuine, honest and one in a million in a place where there is oh so much bullshit.

Not since Pat Rafter lost to Goran Ivanisevic in the finals have we been so proud of an Aussie for not winning. You can still do it next season, not many drivers have the opportunity to drive in race winning cars, and with adrian newey, you will definitely get this opportunity again next season. Contrary to common belief, this was not your only chance, and despite your age, you will improve again next season. Australia believes in you mate.

When you recall this year, just think of Monaco, yours that had to be the best win there of all time. That win told Red Bull that you were the best and marked the beginning of your team troubles, the Australian lion was on the loose. Well Mark, you drove fantastically this year and you gave us such wonderful emotions, like the victories of Monaco and Silverstone ^_^.
Pity for that stupid mistake in Korea, it probably ruined your title chances. Strange news had spread here on Italian TV, that you weren’t even invited to Red Bull party for winning the constructor Championship. But I saw you in Salzburg on German TV, so I guess everything is ok!
I’m glad you will still be at Red Bull Racing next year, ready to fight for another World Championship! You should only relax a bit and be ready for next year! Even if you will be N. 2 next year, don’t let the team treat you as a number 2 driver; you deserved the championship as good as Sebastian, he was only a bit more lucky this year

Mate, I have been supporting you through the thick and thin ever since you entered F1. Taken alot of flak about it too during the Jag/Williams years. People say you are an underdog, I say you are and have been the most professional car racing drivers in the world. This year circumstance has exposed the fire in the belly that drives you to higher places. Thanks for taking us there.

Well done Mark awesome effort this year. All in all it wasn’t enough to win the 2010 WDC, who cares, let the little boy have it, next year it’ll be sweeter when you take it from him.

This 2010 season has been extreme. Not so long ago you would have been crowned WDC with the effort you put in this season. Look this was your first real shot at the title and you just missed out.

All the WCs that will line up to race in 2011 had to fight for one and lose before the prize was awarded. You simply had to go through this in 2010 for the prize to come your way in 2011.

We all know it came a little late for Mark Webber, you just need to wait that little bit longer.
You your self have always said you will walk away from F1 when you’re no longer fast and competitive. Well you haven’t peaked yet; another personal best season will be enough to beat your silver spooned competitors, you’re almost their mate, 20 more rounds and it’s yours.

It was amazing to watch you achieve the things that we all knew you were capable of doing in 2009 and 2010. You also made my bro and I a little extra money hahaha (you tube link below)

A mate & I were talking the other day after watching another category of racing and asked the question when do you ever hear a racing driver say it was my fault, I made a mistake or the like?
We looked at each other and said “Mark”.

Maybe some wont want to tell you this but this from a true Fan who sincerely want to seee you Victorious in your Quest, I would say that Great F1 drivers have this unmistakable quality in common that is: Super Aggressive Charge when is from the back end of the line to the front lead. I have seen this particularly clear with Senna, Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. I know you are a more fast consistency driver but I really hope that you would add that too as the newly acquired ‘strength’.

One way to ease my pain is not talking for a while, disconnect. So I spent the evening in the garden.
The only thing that comforts me, is the fact that the world has seen your true talent. Personally I appreciate the life lesson you have given me.
I really want to have Mark Webber for a while.!!! So I hope you will have a successfull surgery with the loving attention of Annie and we would like to enjoy watching you again next season.

Mark, thank you – this has been a magnificent season of F1 and your performances have been absolutely inspirational. Great reminders of the importance of being tenacious, determined and resolute (and having a huge talent doesn’t hurt…). I’ve been following your progress since the Mercedes GT days and have been proud to watch you show the world how much fight you have in you. Well done on a stellar performance. Looking forward to doing all again in 2011.

Mark, you have been fantastic all year and there is another adage to take away with you: ‘Shoot for the moon – even if you miss, you’ll still land among the stars’.
You certainly have done that, collecting many fans along the way. We’ll all still be rooting for you in the 2011 season and I still believe you can make it as WDC.

Well, the fat lady has sung…but Mark is still my Hero!

Just remember this is your championship just as much as Vettels, you made us fans proud. If Ferrari did not cover you off then Vettel would not be champion now. If you have a good car next year. It could be your year and I hope it is because you deserve it. Well done, dont feel down pat yourself on the back your fans are proud of you. Thank you.

What a sportsman Mark Webber is, in defeat and victory always humble and professional. I think he was the most deserving of the title, but you can’t discredit Vettel. That crash in Valencia, the collision with Vettel in Istanbul, and victories at Milestone (No.2 Driver), Hungary ( one of the drives of the season), and of course Monte Carlo (trophy in the pool), all make Webber, for me driver of the season. I’d like to wish Mark the best of luck for next season, no doubt that Aussie Grit will be shown even more so.

A great season for Mark, with two storming drives in the ‘Blue Ribbon’ Grand Prix of Britain and Monaco. No disgrace to lose to Vettel, who will become one of the all time Formula One ‘Greats’.

What you havé achieved since Le Mans’99 where I first saw you is just Incredible! You are the world champ for your supporter! Now get some well deserved rest with your parents and Ann. Thank you for the amount of positive émotions you gave us each Time you got the pole position and was on the podium! Come on Mark, you are an incredible athlete!

Far from being more than a bad effort, you gave us a thrilling exciting season, my favourite in F1 so far. The chips fell a certain way, it’s really disappointing. But you should be tremendously proud of yourself for the way you drove this year and your fans will be rooting for you all the more next year. Enjoy a well earned break and regroup.

You acknowledge your mistakes, give credit where it’s due and soldier on. This was your best season to date. Next year will be even better. Have a rest and come back hungrier than ever, return as the aggressive, attacking driver we all know you can be!
