“I got boxed in and didn’t get a good exit off the corner, but after that it was a strong race,” said Mark. “I have some family and friends here this weekend, so it’s good to get a strong result.”

I just dropped it in the last sector and it’s not satisfying when you do that, but I’m still pretty happy with second.”

After equalling Sir Jack Brabham’s 13 pole positions on Saturday, Mark suffered a slow getaway and had to fight his way back to second place – the 40th podium finish of his career and the 100th podium in the history of Red Bull Racing.
