SEASON 1998
Mark partnered Bernd Schneider in an AMG Mercedes CLK in the FIA GT Championship. Despite winning five races in ’98, they were pipped to the title by their team-mates Klaus Ludwig and Ricardo Zonta at the final round. The ’99 season was a non-starter after the FIA GT Championship was cancelled, which left Mercedes with a reduced programme in the American Le Mans Series and culminated in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
